There are only thirteen cars produced for the 2015 model year that come exclusively with manual transmissions of the three pedal variety. No dual-clutch non-sense, here. Those cars are listed below.
Ariel Atom 3
Chevrolet Camaro Z/28
Ford Fiesta ST
Ford Focus ST
Honda Civic Si coupe
Honda Civic Si sedan
Lotus Elise
Mitsubishi Evolution X GSR
Nissan 370Z Nismo
Nissan Versa S
Nissan Versa Note S
Subaru WRX STi
SRT Viper
**Updated to include the Ariel Atom 3.

As I scoured through all of the manufacturer websites I found it interesting that most of the entry level vehicles can still be had with a manual transmission but it was only the Versa S that did not have an automatic option. Unfortunately, in many cases, checking the manual transmission box requires a lesser performing engine, thus taking away much of the fun. Bummer.
I also noted that all of the cars on this list now have six-speed manual transmissions with exception of the Mitsubishi Evolution X GSR and the Nissan Versa which only have five forward gears. This post isn't about the Mitsubishi Evolution, but I can't help but think how much better that car would have sold if it had a six-speed manual instead. As I noted in my !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , the five-speed brings the RPMs too high on the highway and creates a rather annoying buzzing in the cabin. Besides, saying five-speed manual sounds so antiquated.

Alternately: These 2015 Cars Force You To Have fun.

Only see the Viper and Elise on that list. The rest are packages on cars that offer autos.

The Versa? Fun?
I admit I'm surprised that there's a manual only offering for any appliance car. I didn't think modern drivers of cheap appliances wanted to shift their own gears. But I doubt Nissan did it to make the Versa fun. It's just not the kind of car people slam and put rims and neons on and give a 100 shot of naws yo.

But it's the Versa S, so obviously it's super fast yo.

They still sell the Elise?

13. Subaru Crosstrek 2.0i
For 2015, the new base model crosstrek comes only with a manual. In order to get a cut you have to step up to a premium.

Having never driven a versa, I bet I'd have some fun thrashing a stick shift version.

Oh, so it must have overnight parts from Japan. And two bottles. And I gotta have it by tonight!

Obvi.

Oh, I can have fun thrashing any stick shift. The lousier the better in some cases - slow car fast and such. I just don't think that's what Nissan had in mind for the Versa.
Now, give me back my 91 Sentra SE-R and that's a different story...!

The ST twins do not come with auto options.

Which car's shifter is in the picture though? That looks amazing :)
![]() 12/30/2014 at 11:58 |

The Focus and the Fiesta have the sketchy Powershift. The ST is a trim, not another vehicle.

I'm also curious. I was going to say it's a Gallardo, but there's not enough speeds.
![]() 12/30/2014 at 11:59 |

But they are trims of the Focus and a Fiesta, which do. That was his point.

Early Murcielagos were 5 speeds. Could be one of those.

Early 2000s Lambo Diablo.
Here's another view from the googles:

I didn't know that! Can't find a picture of one, though.

I DD a 5sp Aveo, I can confirm that MT econoboxes can be exceedingly entertaining to drive

No, they stopped awhile ago.

Yes, they do. Just not in America.

Only in America. Production continues for the rest of us.

The Fiesta 1.0 L EcoBoost sedan and hatchback are manual only also.

I shall go out and buy 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, and 12 and put them in my garage and drive them the rest of my life.

Polaris Slingshot, if it qualifies as "car".
![]() 12/30/2014 at 14:45 |

That looks goooodd
![]() 12/30/2014 at 14:53 |

And that is total BS because my wife wants one but will not drive a manual in LA traffic.
![]() 12/30/2014 at 15:04 |

Polaris calls it a three wheeled reverse trike. So, no, but good call.
![]() 12/30/2014 at 15:10 |

Well, Jalopnik calls the Morgan 3-Wheeler a car...
For insurance/licensing/etc. purposes, these are motorcycles in most states, but if it has a steering wheel, I'm putting it in the car column.

Totally forgot about this. Interestingly enough I don't see the 1.ol ecoboost option on Ford's site when building a Fiesta.
Also, the 1.0 ecoboost is an option on the SE... which is available with an automatic.

I personally call the Morgan 3-Wheeler the 'Almighty' and worship at the feet of the online configurator

I gotta give the 370Z Nismo credit for existing at all, let alone as a manual-only.
